Las Vegas police have reported that they are dropping the Battery Case against singer Chris Brown. The man who claimed that Brown punched him during a weekend basketball game is withdrawing his complaint.

Police reported that Brown, 25, had been suspected of beating the man (who had his injuries treated at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center.)

Apparently, the man had been playing basketball at the Palms Resort when he and Brown got in a verbal altercation on the court. The man claimed that Brown then punched him and another individual.

This is not a typical case; Las Vegas Battery charges are very series and not always dropped.
