Domestic Violence in Las Vegas

Domestic Violence struck again, here in the Las Vegas Valley. Three people were recently killed by a man who then shot himself, in what Metro is called a “domestic violence incident.”

Police were called to an apartment complex on the 2200 block of Fort Apache near Sahara to investigate a disturbance; upon arrival, officers found three adult victims– one man and two women– lying outside of the apartment and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. One of the women was found dead upon Metro’s arrival. The other two victims were later pronounced dead.

Inside the apartment, police discovered the shooter, who was suffering from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was transported to UMC Trauma Center and was not expected to survive.

Upon preliminary investigation, Metro’s Homicide Department reported that the suspect and the two women were related, and the male victim was a friend of one of the females.
