AC/DC Drummer Pleads Guilty to Drug Charges and Death Threat

Criminal Defense Lawyer Las VegasPhil Rudd, the famous drummer from AC/DC plead guilty in a New Zealand court for Drug Charges as well as threatening to kill. Rudd, who is now 60 years old, reversed his previous “not guilty” plea and admitted to the death threat as well as to possession of marijuana and methamphetamine.

There is rumor that this entire matter arose from Rudd’s anger regarding an unsuccessful launch of his new solo album.

Rudd’s lawyer, Chris Tuck, is reported as saying, “This matter essentially revolved around an angry phone call, that was it.”

There had also been a charge against Rudd for trying to procure murder, but it was withdrawn due to a lack of evidence.
